About Jovani

Unique and elegant, Jovani is fashion house for women of all ages. In the last few years Jovani's evening wear collections have grown from black tie staples, which include everything from glamorous red carpet ready gowns to gorgeous beaded tops.

Jacob and Saul Maslavi founded Jovani in 1980 in New York City. A native of London, president of Jovani, Saul Maslavi's vision came from his travel abroad. Through his international studies and dedication to the fashion world Saul realized the need for a high-end evening wear line that spoke to a diverse group of women. At the age of 19, Saul co-founded Jovani with his father, a brand which they envisioned would fill a void in high-end women's evening wear, opening up their first showroom in 1980 in New York. Over the last 20 plus years, Jovani has successfully grown from a small office of 10 employees to over 50 employees with the collection currently selling in over 2000 doors worldwide.

Though classic in its roots, Jovani is thoroughly modern in its perspective and reflects the modern fashion world's love of color, fine fabrics and cutting edge designs. Primarily and evening wear line, Jovani continues to expand their collections, most recently adding tops designed for their trend conscious consumer.

Each season Jovani designs add over a 400 new dresses, continually expanding their 5 collections; Jovani, Dolce Jovani, Prom, Beyond, Red Carpet. In the last seven years, Jovani has won the prestigious Debi Award in design excellence for their Mother of the Bride collection and the Diva Award for the Jovani Prom collection.

With their sales showroom located at 1370 Broadway, New York, NY, Jovani can be found at specialty boutiques worldwide with the price points ranging from $200-$700. In the near future Jovani intends on opening flagship stores in Las Vegas, South Beach and Bal Harbor.
